Hi! I'm Keve.

I am a software developer with a passion for building engaging and efficient web applications. For the past 6 years, I have been working on various projects, ranging from low-code solutions to full-stack web applications, sometimes alone and sometimes in a team. I recently finished my studies as a UX designer, which I started to complement and round out my expertise. It provided a way for me to step into the user’s shoes and understand their needs and goals to develop the right solution.

Focusing on UX did not mean I abandoned coding, on the contrary! I kept working as a full-time frontend developer, alongside other side projects, and kept perfecting my skills as a developer too. Having a deep understanding in User Experience meant that I could be more emphatic with my target users and be more motivated and driven to create meaningful solutions.

During this period, I developed a passion for writing clean and maintainable code. I realized that starting a project and getting it almost done is quite easy. Adding the last 10 percent and maintaining it through is very tough. This is where clean code comes into my equation. It is a way to write code that is easy to understand for others or the future me, easy to modify without changing dozens of other files, and doesn't introduce more bugs with every tiny modification.

Through these years, I have done projects in various industries. Drones and laser scanning, Tech-ed and Contact centers, even gardening and weddings. I am curious about new things and eager to learn stuff I don't know about. Coding and UX are my toolbox that I use to solve problems, but what I really look for is a challenge. A challenge is a problem that a customer is facing, a challenge is a new team I can work with, a challenge is a new place I move to, a challenge is a new tech-stack I learn, a challenge can be anything. And I can't wait to see my next one.
